Deerfield Lodge At Heavenly

Second time my wife and I stayed here. Both times we had our miniature schnauzer with us. It's wonderfully updated and the rooms are nice. This trip we stayed in the King One Bedroom which was great because we could hang out in the living room . The grounds are lovely and the inner courtyard is a nice place to chill or walk around with the dog. 3 gas grills are available but we didn't use them. Very easy access to anything in South Lake as well. We will certainly stay here again. Not sure if we would stay anywhere else at this point esp if we have the dog.

Our room was clean, the staff was friendly and it was a great area to access the Tahoe Strip and trail heads! This was our second stay here. A big plus for us is they are dog friendly! We had our two German Shepherd Dogs with us. They had a welcome basket for the pups with treats and towels for them and poop bags. They had a nice array of pastry items and coffee in the morning. The staff was friendly throughout our visit. We will stay here again!

Absolutely LOVE this boutique lodge. It was exactly what I was looking for and needed. A quiet garden like luxurious experience where my dog was not only allowed but very welcomed at the property. I had the king room with the spa tub that allowed for full relaxation after a day of hiking or water sports. It was so nice to enjoy a quiet morning of devotions and meditation on my patio. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive to any needs I had. All the guests were so friendly. The room itself was comfortable, accomodating, and met all my needs. I will definitely be returning.

Only after staying at this wonderful place we understood why everyone was so raving about. This place has definitely gone above and beyond the whole industry of hospitality. Ever since we have arrived we were greeted by the most pleasant hostess. She explained in detail all of the policies and procedures and gave amazing suggestions for sight viewing and dining. She walked us to our room and showed us how everything works. The rooms are exceptionally clean. Even though they didn’t have official housekeeping until you move out-they were cleaner than any other hotels that we have recently been to. Now let me brag about how caring the culture of this place is: they put coffee and water and oatmeal and candy complimentary while other hotels of such a level charge you for the air you breath. Such a detail that doesn’t cost too much for the business makes a HUGE difference for us as a guest. It makes you feel welcome. Please don’t ever change that! Each room has a nice and cozy fireplace which makes you fall in love with the room and you don’t wanna leave. We even ended up staying for one more night than expected. They have a nice private yard and it’s pet friendly. Normally you may think that you would notice it by the smell, but like I have mentioned before the rooms were EXECEPTIONALLY CLEAN and odor free. Even though we didn’t have a dog, but I did notice how caring they were by providing the cloths to wipe the paws of the four legged friends. I have not been impressed with any hotels in my life as much as I was with this one. And next time we visit Tahoe-there is no questions about where we shall stay again. Thank you very much.

Self check in and the room was spacious! The electrical fireplace was super cool although it’s a lil loud. The bathroom was sparkling clean with makeup remover wipes (wow!) and everything you need! Loved the interior design! Oh did I say the staff was awesome? It’s definitely a great place to stay near Lake Tahoe.

Would absolutely love to come back here. The location is very close to everything in South Lake Tahoe while being a bit quieter and slightly off the beaten path. Quick drive to any of the beaches or hiking trails. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, plus a Whole Foods. The courtyard was the perfect area to relax, grab a ground floor room for easy access. Exceptionally dog friendly. Great kitchenette area with dishes, mini fridge, microwave, and keurig. Everything was very clean and due to covid self check in was available.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. I felt so comfortable sleeping here. I enjoyed the snacks in the room as well. The grass area outside had hammocks between the trees and a grilling area that my family and I did use. Our room had two bathrooms, both had a shower and one had a massive tub with jets. After a day of hiking and bike riding, that tub was like magic to my aching bones. We enjoyed our stay greatly and should we ever return to Lake Tahoe we will definitely be staying here again. Cannot recommend enough.

Great location and service! We were greeted by the sweetest clerk when we checked in late (around 6pm). When she found out that my husband and I just got married, she gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. So nice! She also gave us many suggestions about nearby restaurants. The room is adorable and very clean. The fireplace is the heater. There is a kitchenette with complimentary snacks, water and coffee. I was very happy because the bed is comfy and the shower is awesome! We only spent one night here but I wish we could have stayed longer!
